Chemo is poison but a specific but not specific enough agent that kills cancer and many other cells as well. Our bodies will defend against this and of course the side effects come along. I've noticed ONC like to hear what they say but dismiss what you have to say because you can't be as smart as they are. Isn't it nice Obama new regulation will give us "End of Life Counselling" every year when the money could be better spent on medications for those in the doughnut hole. My sister is in the same boat she omits meds because she can't afford them and she is too proud to let family help her. Maybe End of Life Counseling is just the thing she needs since without her heart meds her survival is limited Thanks Obama, it's good to have information on possible end of life since a phamplet on how to die is more important than a life saving heart pill every time.

Thanks for the info but she won't use it. She sees it as charity and she won't take the help. STUBBORN should be her first name. Mom was like that too but I was able to talk her pharmaist into billing her next to nothing and I paid the rest without her knowledge. My sister knows I did this and she is wise to it.
