Hi everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Last Monday, Dec 20 my husband and I headed off to Sacramento to catch the train for Salt Lake City to visit our Son, Daughter in law and beautiful grand daughter. We had our tickets and were next to check out baggage when we go a a call on our cell from our daughter in Clovis, Ca. Her baby is due Jan 9, so we thought we had it all worked out... Salt Lake City for a week, home, then to Clovis. But she had just been to the Dr. and we decided to deliver her that day! We grabbed our bags and checked with the ticket agent and found that our train tickets were good for l year. So off we went to Clovis. We have a brand new, very healthy 19 3/4 in., 6.8 lb. little boy! His name is Chase and he is beautiful. Mom, Dad and Baby Chase are all doing fine! I was thrilled to have been there! We just got home today. Tues. the 28th we will head off to SF to meet with Dr. Kelley my onc. The research people are sending me back to her as she seems to think she has some new meds for me to try. I am very happy to go back to the medical side, though research was interesting and good to me, medical side is more directed at my cancer. These grandbabies remind me of what I am fighting for. I won't give up! I am truely blessed! Happy New Year to all of my friends. You are such an important part of my life and such a support. Thank you to all of you. Love, Jean
