Pondering over 2010
Trouble is in town, ie moi. :-) Just thinking over the last year, we have had so many losses from Louanne, Donna, Eric, John, and many more. I am thankful I got to know them online, especially Donna, she was like my big sister, but she helped me open up more to my family online. And now I have big sisters, in Lisa, Chris, Kathy, Gail, Diane, Jennie, KathiM,Brooks and yes your like a big bro not sis, list is endless. Our colon family members who have gone, have left us with the feeling over their loss, but we have been more richer for knowing them.
Thinking of my bro craig, I am so grateful to your angel who encouraged and paid for your treatment. I'm thankful to my bro for getting the treatment and kicking cancer again!!
Winter Marie, thinking of when you came to the board and how you were given just a few months. But your strong will and determination and faith kept you going, and I'm so happy at the point where you are today.
Those who have had relapses, Craig, Jennie, Buzz, Kerry etc. You are all amazing like everyone else on this board.
Those still fighting, Lisa, Phil, Cheryl, John etc, I don't know how you do it, but you do. You are fighters like everyone else on here, but you teach us that you can carry on with life, actually you have to, otherwise you can't live.
And to our new members, Pepe, Lori, Gail etc, we may have lost valuable members, but we have gained a lot more in you all.
Ok enough ponderings.

Sonia who had a cea test done yesterday and would appreciate your good wishes and prayers that it comes out ok, especially as I have had a rotten few weeks with my stomach. God and you all have given me so much strength to go out and get this test done, heck to get my ct and mri scan done over the last year. So each and everyone one of you, those who are like regular monitors, NanaB, John23 etc thank you. And if I forgot anyone I'm sorry, you know I love you all.

Well..that was all very well said. YOU too are a very special and important part of this family. I am with you on the CEA results. I just had mine done yesterday too and will get results tomorrow so I am SOOOO feeling you on that little sister! Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! You take care and have a great Christmas!

I hope my cea will be fine. As you and others know I was a wreck when I came to this board (still am some would say lol). But you and everyone else have shown me the way, to try and be strong and cope with all that I have been/or am still going through.
Can't wait to see you next year, love you and all my semi colon family loads.

You forgot ME
I know I havent been on here in a while, been so busy with work and the move, but I too have been thinking about everyone here, as I always do. I miss everyone we lost this year, its so sad. I thank GOD everyday for this board and the wonderful people on it, truly some amazing people!
I think back to when I first came on here, amazing the things that have happened to so many, amazing stories of sadness and survival, this board is really inspirational to me and many others I am sure!
I just want everyone to know how thankful I am and how better my life is for having known all of you!

Hugs you have been through so much this year with your partner. And I know everyone can't be on the board all the time due to work etc, but gosh darn it you are part of this family and you know it, as is everyone else.

Hehe that sounds threatening. You my dear friend, what can I say the chats we have had over the phone have been a God send. And you feeling that something was wrong with me back in June on the day I took an o/d, you are, lol I don't have to say it, you know. We have a unique and special friendship (and before I get into trouble, I have that with everyone else, but in different ways!). We have to arrange to talk on the phone soon. x Thank you for all you have done for me over this year.
