I Lost My Sister Today

After a courageous 17 year battle with bc my baby sister passed away today. She was a true warrior. I'll always remember her warm beautiful smile. I'm sure she was greeted by all the angels and has already made friends with most of them. I grieve for her husband and children who were her wonderful caregivers these last few months. I am glad she is in a better place - no more chemo - scans - or pain.

Rest in peace Kathy. I'll miss you.

    your attitude is a lot like mine - I'm so sorry that someone so special to you is no longer here in body with you, but I am not sorry that she is now cancer free. I just wish it could have happened in this lifetime not the next.

    Skipper,
    I'm so sorry your sister lost her battle. I have a sister and know I'd be lost without her so I can imagine what you're going through. It's so hard to lose someone we love, plus at this time of the year it's always worse. But remember that we're all here for you and we all have to support each other. Rest in Peace Kathy, even though I never met you!

    I feel your pain and pray you find comfort with knowing she is in a better place. I too am watching my younger sister near the end of her 3 year battle with Ovarian Cancer. It is heartbreaking!

    how very awful to lose a younger sister and at Cmas time too. But yes, she is free of pain and the awful cancer. (((hugs)))
