I am doing so damn good I feel guilty about it, I kid you not.

I have found that my good old percocet seems to calm down the “gotta crap right now” problem. Only taking 4 to 5 per day. Hell they are only 325s. I only had to poop 5 times yesterday. No sharts or diarrhea for the last 5 days. I have cut the Lomotil to 3 per day as all are formed poop.
The best part is before all this slice and dice, I would poop once every morning after 2 cups of coffee. My good old body it doing its damnedest to get back to that normal.
While I poop thru the day, the bulk of my poop is in the morning after my coffee.
Our sons and their families are all coming down for the weekend for our family Christmas. I will be back to normal by then. What wonderful chaos that will be.
Not a bad recovery for an old coot!

Hey Darlin!
Glad to hear the ole pooper is getting back to "normal". I sure never thought I would see the day that I was discussing poop in such detail...and with such excitment. Then again....NEVER thought I would be discussing with a man about him greasing up his back door...LMAO!!!! ah yes...just another day in the neighborhood. So glad you are doing so well.

Raw butt syndrome?
Kerry,
So glad your raw butt syndrome is being handled.
Since you mentioned Percocets...do they make you have hot flushes? They are killing me!
Which leads me to ask this question...are you still using the brain tumor card and if you are is it still working? My bad back card is running low; now I have to get to the neuro and get some more scoop to lay on the family...LOL
You old coot! I am so proud of you and so joyful that you are feeling so well. Attitude, attitude, huh?

Pat darlin,
Hell yes I be using the hell out of the brain tumor card. It works even better if you point to your head and just say with a slurr in your words “Brain tumor.”
The percocet or the brain pills are giving me the cold chills. The house is at 73 and I have a coat on. It could also be coming off the damn steroids or the crap they used to put me out last week. It will go away.0 -
Hey Kerry
So glad that you are doing so well. You should feel guilty .... look at all those less fortunate who are having a chitty day. Ha! You know I'm kidding. It's actually inspiring to see how well it's going for you after reconnect. How long did you have your ileo?
I've often wondered if it's tougher the longer you're disconnected?? It'll be a year by the time I'm ready for my reversal and I know alot of people don't have to wait that long and then there are others who wait even longer.
I'm like you, I used to be regular as heck and could set my watch for when it was time to go. In the morning after my coffee, nice well formed, perfect, get it done and on with the day. That's when I first noticed my symptoms ... when my morning poop wasn't happening in the morning but, throughout the day instead.
I am so happy to hear that your family Christmas plans are on track and that you still have the brain tumor card. I seldom use my cancer card maybe once but, I allow the family to use mine if it helps them get something they need. My oldest son was waiting and waiting for his landlord to send his security deposit and when it got to be the run around I told him, just tell her that you need the money to help pay for your mom's chemo treatments. Worked like a charm for him.
Merry Christmas to you and the family!0 -
Congrats!
Glad to hear that you are doing so well. I think maybe it is all that good country air you get out there.
Have a wonderful Christmas celebration with the family.
