CLEAN CT SCAN OF NECK AND THROAT SCOPE

Not quite a happy dance yet, that will not take place until Feb. 24th when I get my first PET Scan. My ENT Doc. was thrilled with the CT Scan of my neck this morning. He said there is absolutely nothing on the scan to be concerned with. He also scoped me and everything looks great. He did say I am still very swollen in the entire throat area, and that I do have some moderate edema in my neck. I will start some therapy sessions next week to address swallowing and to help remove the edema.

    You deserve a happy dance!

    On my first big exam after treatment, I had a CT Scan and scope too. Getting a clean scan is great news and a reason to happy dance!

    Great to hear. I'm betting that throat seemed to hurt less after the "nothing on the scan to be concerned with". Wonderful. I'm thinking a celebration is still in order, PET or no PET. Do well. good luck with therapy.

    Here's to more good news in the future!

    Buy one of those vibrating neck massagers and wear it backward for the edema. Hot showers help, as does massage.
