Hi everyone, I am new to the cancer board and I have read some of the postings, they have all been helpful. I am a 5 and 1/2 year survivor of colon cancer! I've had chemo, radiation and surgery as most of you have talked about. I'm glad I found this board! Thanks for being on it.

    Hey there gillendm ... welcome to the board! Everyone has to be new at least once , but how wonderful that you are New AND you are already a 5 1/2 year survivor!! Unfortunately, most "newbies" when they come here are new to cancer and are terrified (understandably so), so it's actually lovely to meet a newbie who has been there, done that :)

    Plenty of chairs and comfy couches around, so pull up one that looks like you will like it and join the gang!
