My neighbor has OVCA - at least stage 3

I was shocked to find a prayer request in my email this morning from a member of my local support group. Someone had forwarded a message about "a woman in my church who is having surgery today for ovarian cancer". Turns out it's my neighbor, a retired RN who was so kind and helpful following my own de-bulking and long, long recovery.

This lady is in her 70's and has a husband who is not in the best of health. Less than six months ago I stopped by to visit and she was painting the interior of her house (about 2500 sq ft), all by herself! Now this. Wow.

Word is that it's at least stage 3. She is using the same doctor that treats me and who did my surgery, a gyn/oncologist. Everyone please pray for Leah.

    Prayer Request
    Carlene, I just finished praying for Leah and her family. The Lord has helped me through so much and I know He can help her. Please let us know how her surgery goes. Will pray for a quick recovery.
