SSD Cut off?
Has anyone heard of or experienced SS cutting someone off of disability saying that person can go back to work?
If a tumor has shrunk, but essentially still there after treatment, I would think that the person is still entitled to the SS disabiity benefit because they still have cancer and it is on the SS's "list of impairments".

Cut off
When I received the letter stating I would be receiving disability it stated that my case would be reviewed in 2 years. I'm sure if they decide that I am well enough to go back to work they will cut me off. I am assuming they ask your doctors whether they feel you are fit to work also, but you know what assuming does
I'm not sure if the review time is different for others or not, it may depend on what the doctors put in their reports that Social Security received.
Were you cut off already??
Stay well,

Hi Dave,
On the correctol board Scouty has shown ned for over 5 years and she will not receive any more ssd. I believe she was a stage 4 colon cancer. Actually, she just recently posted about it. I think you have to show ned before they will cut you off. I hope this helps. Lori0 -
