FYI... you can find this piece in the Dec 13, 2010 of Time. It is a non-biased writing on the development, pros & cons & increasing medical uses of robotic surgery. It focuses on Dr Menon ( the first surgeon to use the robot for prostate removal in 2000)), director of urology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Anyone out there facing a treatment decision should read it.
