Hey Bobby
It took me all week with my Oxi fingers to get the cards done and ready for the post office. Apologies in advance for the poor penmanship as these fingers just aren't as coordinated as before chemo.
Hardest part of all? I went to the Post Office this morning to send them out and guess I haven't been to the post office in years. I remember they used to take your cards and just run them through the postage meter (in the olden days). Not this time. They handed me the right postage stamps for the U.S. cards, then the Canadian cards ... And I'm going to gripe at Pepe ... My postage to Spain cost more than the card ... next year I'm just sending Pepe a stamp. LOL
But, here I am in the Post Office with oxi fingers and all these cards and stamps that I have to put on! whew ... took me forever to get the silly stamps on the card enevelopes. Can't very well peel and apply stamps with gloves on, though I did try for a minute. But ... I did it. Seems like some days it's the little accomplishments we have to celebrate!

Merry Christmas to you and your family Bobby.
When I made my three trips (yeppers I did it in mails of three)to the post office, the first time I was TOTALLY shocked that I had to put the stamps on myself, I thought they would meter run them too. And yes, I thought I was over the effects of the chemo, but sadly, I didn't even recognize my signature. So to all, if it starts with a "W", it was from me. LOL. The second time it was just to drop off the envelopes and get that little extra postage for Canada (Pepe already got his 99 cents worth on the first trip, LOL), and I got enough postage for the rest of our Canadian family, and the USA family, and then, OH NO, was one Canadian stamp short, so again in the long line.
(Love you Cheryl, but darn you'll never know how much, 20 minutes in line).
I was so darn PROUD of myself, this is the first year actually for Christmas cards from me, my husband is so proud that I sent Christmas cards to all our family's as well (won't they be shocked) since I've never done it.
This really got me into the Christmas Spirit, so I thank each and everyone of you!!!!

Santa Craig sent me a CD full of great Christmas songs and tonight I put it on and set up and decorated the Christmas tree. Today has been my first day that I really felt the Christmas spirit. I felt guilty getting so many nice cards from our semicolon family and I was grumbling under my breath because I didn't think I was going to get my cards out. But, the Christams Spirit came and took care of me today. Merry Christmas to you too Winter Marie!0 -
Mine aren't done, either
I'm sure it'll be wonderful, Bobby! I have not gotten mine done yet, and I NEED to. Since I've this ridiculous virus, everything has gotten behind. Tomorrow is my children's choir performance, so after that I will be a little more relaxed. Then it's on to the business of making my cards!
*hugs*
