Going under the knife
House is clean, laundry caught up, groceries bought, home decorated. cleared off my desk at the office, gave insrtuctions to all who need to cover me.
I think I am ready for my wonderful all inclusive stay of 2-3 days, and being home for 4-6 weeks.
I know, I know, I should be grateful this is not cancer related and this is just a repair of the incsion and ostomy site, but it still makes me nervous. I am glad I am first in so there is not a long wait before they give me that wondeful IV drug to calm you down before they take you into the OR.
so, you all take care of yourselves and I will see you all when Iam up and able to get on the computer again!!!

It's amazing how much better
It's amazing how much better overall I feel now that I've had my hernia repaired. Lots of other problems went away with my hernia - even unrelated problems! The stress of knowing I had another surgery in the offing was affecting my whole life.
Wishing you the same happy outcome.
