Home....

Slightly dehydrated- Doc was impressed with those results since I was having about 25 BM's a day AND puking. I did manage to maintain fluids.
Butt is loaded with blisters. Got cream for that.
I had a bacterial infection in my intestines. I was sooooo glad to find out it was nothing cancer related.
I also had a bad Urinary Tract Infection.
They have me on an antibiotic for my intestines, an antibiotic for the UTI, a pill for stomach spasms, Tramadol (non-narcotic),and I had tried 3 different pills to stop the diarrhea but to no avail. I remember what ya'll said about Lamotil(sp?)..... wow...love it..it has worked the best thus far. Only pooped 4 times today.
I am exhausted but I am feeling a little better. Doc says I should be clearing up within 48 hours and I can already feel things easing up. YAY!
Thank you guys...ALL of you...for your posts...and genuine concern...man, I really felt the love!!!! Got home to a lot of xmas cards...wow...love that!!! I will be getting mine out in a few days. Thanks again for all your prayers and good vibes.
Will catch up with posts tomorrow.....just chillin now. Ya'll take care

Thanks for the update.
I'm not a worrier, but you had me concerned. I'm glad you got taken care of. You've been through a lot lately. I'd really appreciated it if you would just keep chillin' and be boring and healthy for a while. And happy. You deserve it. Go listen to the crows.
Take care Jennie.0 -
Glad you're doing better,
Glad you're doing better, but watch out with the tramadol.
I became physically addicted to it (after a month of it in the hospital), and it took me 3 weeks to wean off of it, cutting back by one pill every 3 days. It may not be a narcotic, but can still be quite nasty.
Most important is that they are getting all these messes under control.
I hope you're feeling lots better!

Glad you are home
Dear Jennie,
So very glad you are home and seem to be on the mend. I am sure that you are feeling very much better to know that all those symptoms were not cancer related.
Rest up, keep up the cream on the butt so you can sit on Santa's knee to get your picture taken!
Hugs,
Marie who loves kitties0 -
Yea not cancer related
Glad you are on the mend, take care and feel better soon0 -
Hi Jennie,
So relieved for you that it was nothing cancer related & that you're home and fine now.
It's always something, isn't it? Sorry you've been slammed with difficult things lately. Ok, now onward and forward. Hope and pray you'll continue to be on the mend.
About the butt blisters- I hear ya- I've had a rough time with that myself the past few days. I felt terrible last night and most of today- feel okay now, just dread each time I have to go to the bathroom cause it hurts!
Hugs,

I like your style!
Jennie,
Your posts are filled with "piss and vinegar" as my Dad would have said. You confront everything head on + I really admire that. I am glad you went to the hospital + am really glad you are home now. I am also on antibiotics for UTI for the second time in a few weeks...maybe it never went away? No fun being on them, but if they do the job it's worth it. You have to watch the hydration while on the antibiotics too; last time I got dehydrated. Take good care, sweet Jennie.0 -

Welcome back home
So glad that you are back home and that you finally found out what is really going on with your system and that it is nothing cancer related. You now need to take extra care of yourself so that you can get your strength up. Hope you feel better real soon.

Jennie:
Glad you finally got things straightened out. As hard as it may be with Christmas and all the running around that goes with the holidays try and stay out of the mall and crowds, even restaurants. Your system is healing and you don't need to catch anything right now, not even a cold. Just shop in the net. I won't let George go anywhere near a mall, one of my directives he is happy to follow!
Take care and continued healing - Tina0 -
welcome home!
I'm glad you are back home and pray you will be feeling better soon. I'm so glad you went into the hospital and got things taken care of; without the antibiotics you never would have resolved those dam bacterial problems in the intestines as well as the urinary tract. You must be miserable having BOTH those places hurting! Of course, for us ladies, it's such a short trip from one hole to the other, I find it hard to be sure I don't get a UTI when I am having bad bowel issues, especially since I got the kidney stent. Remember to take it easy and I'm glad you gave your onc hell and he had the decency to apologize!
