Going back for a real second opinion

So as many of you may remember Mom's surgery was unsuccessful due to the location of her tumor. We asked for a second opinion at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and Mom's oncologist begrudingly sent her for one Sept 27th. Well it turns out Mom did not see a oncologist or a surgeon. She saw a clinical studies doctor. Somehow my sister learned this on Wednesday and she/we were furious. My Sister called the clinical studies doctor and he gave her the name of the top guy, then sis called mom's oncologist and "asked" her to make a personal call to this guy to see Mom ASAP. So now Mom is heading back to PM on Wednesday to meet with a surgeon for a real second opinion. Please keep all your body parts crossed that he may have something positive to tell my Mom!

I would be furious to!
Finger crossed for you and your mum, how dare this doctor give his opinion if he does not specialise in oncology or surgery!!!0
