Rad Grad/Chemo Grad/Surgery Grad - DONE!

Had my last radiation treatment yesterday. Finished Chemo Sept. 23. Partial mastectomy was May 11 and a hysterectomy July 1. I'm done with the surgeries, treatments and all too frequent appointments with all the various oncologists (surgical oncologist, medical oncologist, radiologist oncologist and gynecologic oncologist). I do have to see the medical onoclogist December 14 to check in and start Arimidex, but until then, I have no trips planned to the cancer center until follow-ups with everyone starting in March. Horray!

I had no side effects from radiation, except I have a toasty, tender right breast. It's certainly not bad, and I had no fatigue. I feel like my old self again and am growing some peach fuzz on my head.

Life is good.
