Nice!
The scope wasn't as bad as before, for whatever reason.

Although the doctor made an odd comment, that I looked "really healthy now, before you looked kind of pathetic."

I am guessing he means this as a positive comment? Maybe I SHOULD have bitten him.

    Wow - "You looked kind of pathetic" - nice. Should have bitten him, definately - then he wouldn't have thought of you as looking pathetic. Can't bite him now - clean scope trumps stupid comment. Good to hear.

    Saw my ENT yesterday. Didn't get scoped, just got the feel around, and peek with the periscope thing. Heeeeeeeeeeeee said my tongue looked good (doc has me say "Heeee" when he's peeking). For whatever weird reason, I have no idea why, but I sing the "Heee".

    Congrats on the clean scope. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

    My doc is in and out so fast I don't think I could bite him if I tried. Makes it so much easier.

    This last trip, he was behind schedule, and an intern came in first to squirt me with the numbing solution for the scope, and poke at my tongue. I was fine till she put on a floppy oversized latex glove, and announced that SHE was going to palpate the base of my tongue. Um. No, you are not. Leave now.

    Great news on the scope and that it's getting easier each time!!

    On your next visit I think you should just bite him and get it over with :) It sounds like his comment was meant as a compliment but he has a strange way of saying it.

    I spent all day yesterday with a new doctor and after reviewing everything she said I looked fantastic considering everything I had just been through. LOL - maybe women doctors know how to give compliments better than male doctors.
