What is the normal treatment for stage 1T? Chemo & radiation before surgery, after surgery or none? Have read both so I'm not sure.

    Weather its stage 1 or stage 4 and if doctor recommends chemo do it, that way it gets the cells out and then surgery and if needed more after surgery. But go with your heart and what you want to do we can only suggest, and guide you but you have to do whats best for you If i can help further let me know.

    Hi Lee, I think it depends on how the surgeon feels after the surgery, in my case, I was also Stage 1. My surgeon did the MIE and after the biopsies said he would not recommend any chemo or radiation.
