What A Great Time!

Yesterday I lucky enough to meet fellow survivor Jean Hayden. We met for dinner and had a really nice time. What a lovely lady and fellow warrior! Jean - hope you don't mind, but I posted our picture, it might take a while to come up! I look forward to meeting Jean again, and any others from the Baltimore/DC/MD area. We met in Columbia at the Longhorn Restaurant, if anyone else is near there we can make it a little party!!!!! I had a great time Jean, hope I didn't talk your ear off!!!! Thanks for the Angel - I love it!

    Jean is a sweetheart & is one of the first people I talked to on here when I was first diagnosed, even sent me encouraging text messages when I had my first chemo :)
    I wish I were closer to you ladies so I could lunch with you :)

    Yes it was fun!
    We had a nice long chat comparing our journeys, talking about family and just things in general. It's always nice to meet someone face to face. We talked about still doing the Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey get together, sometime next year. Hopefully, then we will have others join us. Pat, I didn't see the picture yet, so I posted mine under my expressions page. Happy Thanksgiving and have a safe trip down to your Moms.
