Hugs back to you!msccolon said:(((((((HUGS)))))))
I'm sorry you are feeling so tired, it really is a vicious cycle! I'm glad your onc believes you are doing well, but I also know that it doesn't help when somebody who HASN'T been there, done that, says something like that when you are feeling like crap! I hope your infection clears up quickly, I'm sure that is just an additional drain on your energies that you do NOT need right now! Are they going to hold off on the Avastin while giving your body a chance to fight the infection? My daughter has problems with was in her ears and has to have it blasted every once in a while as well. She's always amazed at how well she can hear once the plug is cleared! She says the hearing loss from the plug is so gradual she doesn't realize she's losing it until the plug is gone and she can hear again. Of course, initially everything is so loud it's uncomfortable! Glad to hear you are so happy with your family doctor, they can definitely be worth their weight in gold (or coal if they suck!)!

Mary, thanks for your caring + thoughts. I am supposed to see my onc on Wed., chemo on Friday, so I will see what she says about all this. I am taking my last antibiotic tonight; + am hoping some of the tiredness disappears after that. The change in my ear since it got fixed is unbelievable - I could hardly hear at times + now it is perfect.0 -

hang in there, your body is going through alot, when you feel tired, that is a sign that your body needs rest. It is normal to feel that way, chemo takes its toll. Petrina
I know you are right; it is just frustrating.0 -

Don't give up Annie! I know you are tired! I wish, I wish that I could carry some of the weight/crap for you. This is when it gets tough for me! Although, I can't feel your pain, my heart aches for your hurt.
Hugs. Raquel.
I won't give up - I am too stubborn for that! I really appreciate your kind thoughts. Hugs back to you!0 -
Anne:
George had the same thing a few months ago. Couldn't hear a thing. Quite scary. Flushing it helped and then the doc gave him some kind of pills to take for a week and it cleared up and hasn't come back. When I say couldn't hear a thing, he even had he closed caption on the TV set on because he couldn't even hear the TV. Once it cleared up, no problems, hearing fine.
Take care - Tina0 -

Anne,
I'm so sorry you are
Anne,
I'm so sorry you are feeling so crummy. Mom has been where you are and actually still gets more winded and tired than she used to.
Hang in there. I know things will get better for you. I'm on the board but Mom is not, however, all I have to do is say a name and what the problem is and Mom is busy at work with her prayer cards, lol. So you are being prayed for to feel better by Mom.
Hope it helps Feel better.

I think I actually read that cancer patients often have more ear wax - aren't we special? I could hear out of one ear but not the other. All my best to you + George.0 -
