Hi Friends,
I posted a couple of weeks ago and can't seem to figure out how to update my post sooo will try a new one.
I have had severe diarreah for over 5 weeks. Oncologist ordered stool samples and referred me to my GI. Onc. said the tests were normal, primary care said the tests were normal, GI said they showed elevated white count so I need to have another colonoscopy. I just had one 4 months ago along with bloodwork and everything was fine. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar. I don't know much about the white count (or white cells)in stool samples. I know one of the things they are checking for is colitis. This is v ery unusual for me as I usually am constipated. Any help will be appreciated. Stage IIIc

Debbie

Hi Debbie
I'm sorry you are having this problem. You have my sympathy. As for the white count, it would probably mean that you have an infection or some other inflamation going on in your GI track. Colitis would qualify. I hope they track down what is going on so you get some relief. HUGS0 -

Friends,
Thanks for your responses. I know that you all understand how minds can play tricks - is the cancer back? etc. I always come here to bounce things off of you all.
