I just got news from a young friend who had a lab test done on the bloody fluid coming from her nipple. They can tell from the fluid that it is cancer. We are panic stricken waiting for more info. Can anyone tell me anything about this sort of breast cancer?

    nipple discharge
I have not expereinced this myself. The discharge that I could express from my nipples, for years, was clear but gray tinged. However what I have learned is that any discharge from nipples can signal breast cancer, often the most benign kind: Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS). I hope this is what your friend is told!
