    My Mom - Best Friend too
    Hi Elysia, Doing okay. Feelings are still so raw. We buried my Mom yesterday. I still can't believe it and reading your earlier posts I know you must have felt the same way. She too was my best friend. She was so active with the Red Hats, vacationed with her friends and was a HUGE part of mine and my sister's lives.. I miss being able to pick up the phone to ask her something.. It doesn't seem real yet.. We were just at her regular doctor's appt last Friday.. I guess her lungs at the end were just too tired even though she fought so hard.. Thanks for asking..

    How are you doing? You've been through so much too?

    I wish I had the right words to offer, but they simply do not exist. :(
    I know things are still very raw and surreal for you and they will be for an undetermined amount of time.

    It was 8 weeks last Thursday for me, and it may as well have been yesterday. People do not get it, and that is fine.....just do not judge me.

    I am so dreading the next month or so, holidays were so special and always at moms. Plus her bday is the 27th of this month.

    Do what is best for you, there are no rules, no format.....we all deal with things in our own way. Know that I (and many more) are thinking of you and your family during this time....
