I actually had 2 surgeries
Lumpectomy and axillary node dissection was 12/19/09, re-excision for clear margins and implant port was 12/29/09. We had to wait awhile--I had a large hematoma from the biopsy that the surgeon was waiting on to resolve a bit. All in all, it was really fun (not!).
