Well enough to get 'normal' sick....lol!
I went to the doctor yesterday (who was the one who found my cancer), and his nurse said with a smile on her face, "Isn't it great to be well enough to get 'normal' illnesses?"....made my day!

Feel Better Soon
Isn't it funny what can make us feel 'normal'.
Rest up and feel better soon.

Hi Kathi,
I do hope you get well soon from the bronchitis!
I was on antibiotics last week from some kind of cold/infection/tonsillitis or something (they never did check for strept)- thought my tonsils were going to close up the throat and that I'd cough my head off. I feel pretty normal again, as of yesterday (the zithromax took care of it w/in 3 days).
Yeah, it's all your perspective, isn't it? To the average person, bronchitis is terrible (it still is to us), but when you compare it to going into the dr. for something like cancer, well it's nothing!
Funny how a "normal" illness can make you feel "normal", lol!
Take care and get well!

I never got "normal sick"
I never got "normal sick" during treatment. I used to joke that I was the healthiest I'd ever been while I was being treated for cancer! Go figure!
Feel better soon. Bronchitis is no fun. I'm back to having my annual bout of it (I skipped it my chemo year!)

Me too, Alice- the throat infection/cough/tonsillitis that I had last week was the first time I've had something like that in the whole 3-1/2 yrs since my diagnosis. Other than this, I think I've had minor colds 3 times and that's it. Before treating for cancer, I used to get a slew of colds, sore throats, laryngitis, and some kind of flu bug every year. It's weird that I got "healthier" in that aspect after being diagnosed with cancer!0 -
During treatment, my sinus headaches disappeared...abrub said:I never got "normal sick"

I mentioned this to my onc...she said, in severe cases of migraines, chemo is given as treatment...
So, yes, me, too...I was better then....
