Chemo has made me stupid!

So I am baking whoopie pies from a mix from crate and barrel. I am added the water and the batter was so runny. I am saying, "I am so mad I could spit!" I asked my daughter to read the directions and she confirmed I followed the instructions. So hubby says let me see if a man can figure this one out. So he looks in the bowl and says that there is way more than 2/3 cup of water. After all my ranting I look in the sink and there sat the one cup measure. I had added 2 cups of liquid. Since chemo I have found myself doing silly stuff like this, forgetting things. Chemo has made me alive but stupid!

I've never had chemo and I make stupid mistakes
Just the other day, I put salt in a recipe of chocolate chip cookies instead of sugar...mmmmmm how delicious...

Then I went out of the house with a panti-liner in my hair that my cat had put in my hat...when I took my hat off, there it was....

Finally, on the airplane flight home, one of those stupid toilet seat covers got caught in my jeans...and I sounded like a paper mill in my **** as I walked down the aisle. It was lovely...

2 out of 3 cups of liquid makes sense to me....I would have eaten it...

    Lisa, the panti-liner is
Lisa, the panti-liner is pretty funny. Sorry. Here's one that will make you feel like it's not such a big deal, by comparison.

Years ago, I went on a girls' getaway to Vegas. One of the "girls" was a friend-of-a-friend that I really, really did not like very much - very full of herself. Our group was seated close to the front, so Miss All-That-And-A-Bag-Of-Chips had a looong hike to the bathroom, at the rear of the plane. She came bopping back to her seat, and as she passed my row, my seatmate and I realized that she had managed to get the tail of her skirt tucked into the waistband of her underwear, thus mooning about 200 people.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer person.

    What, huh?
I find my memory is horrible right now. I have always felt that I am a bit absent minded but it is worse now. Let's see what can I blame it on? Age (62), menopause (went through that), stress (what could I possible be worried about?) or could it be chemo?

The good news is that the last 8 1/2 months are becoming a blur. It just feels like I have lost a chunk of time. So some things I am glad to forget.
