Biopsies
My wife went today for needle biopsy on her thyroid. She has 2.7 x 1.5 tumor. I hope it is nothing and we should know the results by Wednesday. Please keep her in your prayers. I have a scan on the 7th, but I don't think there will be any sign of the c. I just don't know if I can take care of her as well as she did me if there is trouble. I do know several people that have had their thyroid removed in cases like this and are doing fine.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Best,
Steve

Steve:
I certainly will keep your wife and you in my prayers and hopefully it's nothing on her thyroid; but like you I've heard of several people who have had theirs removed and are doing fine. Prayers to both of you! God Bless!

Hi Steve, I'm hoping and thinking your wife will be fine. I know that whatever support she needs you will be there to supply. You're one of the most candid and positive people here, and I wish your wife the very best.

I hope your wife's biopsy is a big negative, Rod Stewart had his thyroid removed a long time ago and he is still rocking. Denis0 -

In my prayers
You and your wife will be in my prayers as you await the biopsy results. I know that you will be as wonderful at being a caregiver as she was during your treatment but I'll be saying extra prayers that you don't have to go through this.
Positive thoughts and prayers coming your way.

Biopsies
Hi, Steve. Here are wishes and prayers that your wife's tumor is benign. My thyroid tumor was benign and they discovered it when they discovered my parotid cancer. They removed the left lobe of my thyroid and I am doing just fine with no thyroid medication. Even if they have to take the whole thyroid, many people live just fine without one. Best of luck to you on your upcoming scan. Both of you beat this thing and keep appreciating each other.0 -
Hey Steve
Sorry to hear the news on your wife. Just when you both needed a break. She (and you) will definitely be in my thoughts.

steve, I am saying a special prayer for you both right now. I am praying that it turns out to be benign. steve, you have the strength you needed to get through cancer...you have the strength you need to care for her. you might not do it the same as she took care of you, but that is because you are a different person. I am sure that all she expects of you at any time is to do your best...she will love you for all you are able to do. hold her hand through surgery, if she needs it, tell her how much you love her...and just be the shoulder she needs to cry if she needs to cry, make her laugh when she needs to laugh, and give her hugs even when she thinks she doesn't need it.
my thoughts and prayers are with you both.
hugs!
