Pre-Surgery Nerves
I am thankful we have gotten through 5 surgeries already since March. Thankful he beat the first Neurgosurgeons news that "tumor was inoperable".
However, my stomach feels like an elephant is on it and I am trying to NOT think of all the "what if's" and will this surgery have complications or will he return back to work as scheduled/soon/or ever ??
It still amazes me how life changes "in the blink of an eye". I do not take anything for granted anymore.

Good Luck
Carrie,
I can imagine how nervous you are about your husband's surgery. Wow, can't believe he's had that many since March. But try to think positive. Hopefully someone will be with you for it so you don't have to sit alone & wait. I'll say a prayer for him. You'll make it don't worry!!

He did great. Absolutely great. This time we didn't announce it to many and the 6th surgery was a charm for rest in the hospital. Tomorrow we go to see Neurosurgeon to hopefully have stitches taken out. His forehead looks beautiful. MRI the beginning of Jan, pray no sign of tumor and then 2nd opinion for Stereotatic Radiation. Thank you for you prayers !

Carrie,
I'm so happy for you both!!! It's great to hear some good news for a change. I'll keep praying that the MRI in January is good too. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
This will be the first Thanksgiving without my hubby so it's going to be hard to put on a happy face. My daughter is having it at her house. One of our sons, his wife & son will be there too. Our other son & His wife & boys are going up north to her brothers. I don't like red wine, but Tom (my hubby) loved it so I'll have some for him.
Again I'm glad you have something to celebrate!!! "Carole"

Just read your info and I saw that you're celebrating your 1st anniversary on the 29th. I didn't realize that he got sick so soon after you got married. But keep thinking positive & tell him every day how much you love him.
Me & Tom were married 46 years. Had known each other since 1st grade!! I miss him so darn much! Anyhow, have a great Thanksgiving & Happy Anniversary! "Carole"0 -

I hope you enjoy Thanksgiving with your family although I know it will be a hard day for you.
46 years ! That is awesome. I know you have many, many memories. Especially since you have known each other since the first grade.
Keeping you in my prayers.
