Pain in upper right quadran

Could I ask if anyone started with pain here and bloating for no reason? I am a breast cancer survivor and have gerd, but this is scaring me because it seems worse than that. I will make an appointment with my oncologist soon but was just wondering if anyone could shead some light on these symptoms.

    that was my dads first
    that was my dads first symptom before he was diagnosed, he also had nausea and vomiting

    I took care of my Dad through lung cancer and know the struggles you face.

    Hello Lighthouse-7
    I was a caregiver for my dad. He was first dx with esophageal cancer, then got mets to the liver. Unfortunately he lost his battle to liver cancer in March. Yes, this is the same exact pain he had. Severe pain in upper right side. This may also be gall stones. You have to make this drs. appointment now. You need to have an ultra sound of this area to see if it is gallstones of the gallbladder, or cancer of the liver. Please do not wait any longer. Keep us up to date.

    I HAD BAD PAIN ON RIGHT UPPER QUAD AND I THOUGHT IT WAS GALL STONES MY DOCTOR SAUD MY BLOOD WORK SHOWED HIGH LIVER COUNT SO HE SENT ME FOR AN ULTRASOUND, THEY FOUND METASTIC LIVER CANCER AND A MONTH LATER BREAST CANCER PRIMARY. I HAD CHEMO AND BREASET SURGERY ITS BEEN A YEAR AND I'M DOING REALLY WELL. PLEASE DON'T IGNORE THE PAIN IT DOESN'T MEAN CANCER BUT SOMETHING IS CAUSING IT. HOW ARE YOU???????

    My husband had these symptoms for years and the doctors kept telling him it was his GERD. Now he has Cholyangiocarcenoma, (liver cancer). Have your family do a complete liver work up. And don't let him poo poo you about these symptoms. They could be early warning signs.

    Pain in upper right quadrant is exactly how my nightmare began. I started having pain on a Sunday and by Wednesday I was in the ER in what everybody thought was a gallbladder attack...During surgery the surgeon noticed spot on liver...biopsy confirmed cancer...I am a 10 yr breast cancer survivor so it was thought BC mets to liver but after numerous testing and liver resection diagnosis is unkmown primary with mets to liver.I have my first CT scan Monday after liver resection which is three months out. So I'm praying all looks good...
