thanks for asking
I really have been remiss in posting because the news just isn't good. I had my scope done and while he did find an ulcer in my rectum right where I feel pain, that's ALL he found. It's certainly not what's causing the bulk of my pain. We are going with our best guess that it's the lymph nodes pressing on the nerves down there. So, I was hoping to get some relief, at least a focus of where to go to get some relief, with nothing. I'm still exactly where I was before, dealing daily with pain and it's not getting better. I go to see my oncologist on the 22nd and I have asked for a referral to both pain management as well as cyberknife to do something about the nodes. If it is indeed the nodes, I don't imagine I'm going to get any real relief until we do something about the nodes. So, that's where it's at. Thank you for asking, Maggie!

Is there any way to remove the lymph nodes or treat them? they are treating mine with radiotherapy and docs are very confident that it will work.
Hope you find a solution very soon , I prey for that.
Hugs Mary! -

So sorry to hear that you are in so much pain and it hasn't been relieved yet. Trying to get answers to things sometimes are so frustrating as you are hurting and doctors just don't understand it. My hope and prayers are for you finding a solution to this and you being more comfortable.
