The CSN Warrior-Sisters have started sending out their ornaments, I see!!!

One of the Kindred Spirits posted on FB that she bought, boxed and sent out 4(!!) ornaments plus a box of goodies for the 2010 Secret Chen-ta extravaganza! It doesn't matter if your sender remains anomymous~ when YOU get your ornament, please post and let us know about it! Share the fun !!!!

BTW...Some of you ( randomly chosen!) will be getting more than one ornament! I had an un-even number of names, and of course I wanted all to send AND receive, so I put an imaginary push-pin in the imaginary map of CSN-land, and voila! Some of you will be doubly blesed! Enjoy!!!!!

    okay .. okay ... I'll do my part early next week ..
    I've purchased my gift, wrapped .. now to send .....LOL It's just like me to get everything purchased, wrapped .. then get too tired to finish my project (s)! When I've regained strength or enthusiasm -- I've moved on to yet, another project! Life as a blond :-) Sad, but true. LOL ..

    VickiSam! You are such a darling!!! And, you are already 3/4 on your way to having whomever you are sending an ornament to grinning Big Time when they see a gift in their mail! I would have thought we have a bit more time to mail too, until this morning when one of the CSN sisters posted a picture of her Beach Themed CHRISTMAS TREE on FaceBook. I was sooo surprised!

    As usual, I've done nothing yet, thinking "oh, plenty of time."

    Today I also saw on Facebook that 4 ornaments PLUS GOODIES were being mailed. I thought how thoughtful...goodies also. Have to start searching for the special ornament for my special girl. What I have been doing is paying particular attention to the postings of my special girl to learn more about her in the hopes of finding that perfect ornament for her.

    This is getting exciting.

    LOL @ you Victoria! They are "due" for the Holiday Season~ whenever that is in your mind/heart! It isn't even Turkey Day yet, right??? I reiterate, I make the exchange suggestion, I collect the names/addresses, I randomly send them to those who want to play, and from there, it's up to you! No rules!!! Well, just one: Lead With Your Heart!!

    Having missed out on the Christmas Holiday's last year ...
    due to extreme fatigue .. I'm having my husband and kids put up our Christmas Tree this week-end, lights and all .. Yes .. Christmas is coming early to our home this year ... What a difference .. 1 year makes .. thought I was not going to make it to the finish line last year at this time!

    There is life ... after chemo and radiation ..

    Celebrate life in any little way, and go out and make someone smile! :-)

    I am new to this site, and
    I am new to this site, and new to cancer. I joined yesterday. Had a lumpectomy Sept 22, results Sept 30th. Have already done my rads, mommosite stlye, first T/C 2 weeks ago this coming monday.... Anyway, is it to late to play?? I have spent several hours last night and today reads posts and learning! Wish I had found this a month ago, although I was to tired to do much of anything. Everyone is wonderful and so supportive and helpful. If I'm to late, that's ok, will just do it next year!

    That's what I did Janelle, I had been away from CSN for a while so she is new to me. I had some researching to do and I love her already. I thought about where she was at in her treatment and how her posts sound, but you know it's still hard to know what special thing that person would like. I hope whoever has gotten my name does not feel they need to send anything more than the agreed upon ornament. That would be special enough in itself. I love this! I can't always put my "I care" into words, but this I can do. To me, sending this to my csn sister is the next best thing to being there and giving her a hug. It's a reaching out that is more concrete than words and it gives me great joy to do it.

    Well, sweet ladies, I have officially ended the time to join our festivities! I had amazingly GREAT responses this year! Not just from us here at CSN, but I also opened it up to CSN'ers who are now mainly on FB. So we have a big family of ornament exchangers this time! It is the 3rd year I have done this on the Boards; I previously did it in the chatroom as well! ( I am a glutton for punishment! If you all only knew how altruistic yet un-organized I am in Real Life!!) It is amazing that any of you got someone to send to! LOL LOL

    Mailed my ornament today........hope she likes it! Hint hint.....it's going cross country...but I haven't seen my "sister warrior" post anything in ages........Hopefully she's okay.....This has been fun.....

    Purchased mine just yesterday...
    So - have to wrap & package, address & get to the Post Office to mail. Most likely, immediately after Thanksgiving.

    Agreeing with Jan's post - this makes our connections much more tangible. I remember how I felt last year, holding the ornament I knew my pink CSN sister had also touched with her own hands. Yes - heartwarming! :-)

    Additionally - this Christmas Girl gets EXTRA excited about Christmas!!!

    My ornament arrived this afternoon and I've already sent a "thank-you" to my special sister. It's lovely, and I'm so happy.
    I'll get the ornament for my chen-sister in the mail right after Thanksgiving - have to finish painting the living room before guests arrive for turkey.

    Whoooo Hoooo! Isn't it nice to get something special in the mail??? This is bringing me so much joy~Reggie was afraid I might be taking on to much, but this has been such a needed and pleasant diversion. I am so glad that so many of you signed up!
