Brother-in-law of friend diagnosed with EC IIB. Underwent chemo/radiation and recently MIE, I believe, surgery for cancer removal. This was some 3 or 4 weeks ago, and he is still in intensive care. Shortly after surgery, started losing blood, found that his spleen had possibly been nicked or whatever during surgery and was bleeding and had to be removed. Had to have 13 pts of blood. Started having poor blood count and more blood given. This time an allergic reaction, transfusion stopped and given benadryl. Subsequently developed atrial fibrillation with rates and pressures all over the place. He still has all the tubes and intense medications. I'm sure his wife, in particular, and family are exhausted. If he can just get stabilized, he seems to have a possibility of beating the EC; however, they need our prayers.

    Very appreciated. I think each member of this site always prays for the other members in their battle with this disease.
