First Visit to Regular Doctor

My dad had his first visit to his regular MD since his treatment ended. He had to go back on his blood pressure meds, but at a lower dose. The doctor told him that his diabetes is under control. The only area of concern was his sodium level and it was pretty low. What happens when your sodium level gets low. What kind of side effects can people have.

Other then that the doctor told him he was great. He has only lost a total of 12 pounds since his cancer was diagnosied.

Again thank you for all of your help. I wish all of you clean scans in the weeks to come.

Kathy

So glad your Dad is doing well.
My doctor put me on sodium and potassium supplements for a while. That did the trick.

    Good Deal
Glad he had such a good doctor visit. I wouldn't be concerned about the sodium level if the doc didn't do something. If it were very low, some folks go through issues with memory, hallucinations, and personality changes. My father went through this last year - for him (like the vast majority), it was temporary. Hope his sodium level straightens out soon, so you'll have one less concern.
