Graduation Day
Congratulations of finishing your rads. My final (30th) treatment was a bit over two months ago. My neck is still a bit sore, but manageable. My taste buds came back pretty well after about a month. All in all, I am grateful that my after effects seem to be less severe than some people report and I am hopeful that yours are as well. Best of luck in your recovery. -

walking away a winner
You are doing great! The effect of the last radiation you just took is still about two weeks away but you know it's coming and then it is overwith. Then you get to start healing up. You just showed that cancer who is boss. I graduated three years ago but learn something new about myself and this beast everyday, still.

Advice from the dog.GraceLibby said:Congratulations!
Awesome news to know there's someone else on the path to recovery!
Deb, I think you need to follow the advice of your dog. Wrap yourself up and let yourself recover. Be patient...the body heals.

Congrats on finishing, take care of that neck, my wife used a LOT of aquaphor and beleive it or not saran wrap to keep the moisture in.
Dont forget your swallow exercises to help keep throat muscles working, I didn't do mine for awhile and almost paid the price. Again congrats
Best Wishes & Prayers for you recovery
