Did anyone ever experience any unexpected bruising after chemo

Hi friends,
As I have posted, I had my 6th taxol/carbo chemo last week. Last night while watching tv on the couch I fell asleep briefly, I think on my right side. When I got up, I noticed I had a small bruise by my outer right eye, and another bruise on my left jaw. They look better today.
Do you think that means my platelets are dropping. I read lowered platelets can cause unexpected bruising?
Thanks everyone.
Hugs to all!
