Back in the chemo saddle
Just wanted to let y'all know I started back up today with a blast of Cisplatin and day one of 35 radiation. They installed wifi in the chemo room while I was gone so I am actually writing while getting chemo. I was hopeful that I wouldn't need to be back in this room but the protocol calls for what it calls for, so here I am. I'm thinking of all of you today and what you've went through and what you have yet to go through. I'm very grateful for all of you and the support we have for each other. As I begin this portion of the journey it's nice to know you all are there waiting to support and help. Thank you all for traveling this road with me. I wish we didn't have to but I can't imagine doing it without you all. May God bless all of you today with peace, comfort, healing, freedom from pain and abundant love.

Bob, Just wanted to send lots of hugs and prayer your way... Unfortunately even the most positive among us can have bad days, but when I do, I try to think of the days ehen I'm hopeful, and somehow feeling normal! I know I can wake up tomorrow feeling that same way... and so can you. Hang in there and keep us posted on how you're feeling. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

What Jimbo said, Bob, as well as the others.
In the past I've given this advice, so now it's for you. This is when you roll-up the shirtsleeves, Bob, retie your shoelaces, and find a mean-kinda grin for not so long down the road. Keep your Drs. informed on how you're handling it, and you must keep the Nutrition-intake. You're gonna survive this thing- so get used-to it! Know it, and

Best wishes Bob
I hope it all goes well with minimal hassle and if you have hassles, I hope they pass quickly. You have many more canyons to explore and mountains to climb, and tents to pitch. Keep your eye on the end game.
Hang tough Bob.

Thank you all
You have all touched my heart with your warm words. What beautiful people you all are. So honored to be a part of this family.
Got a Cisplatin blast yesterday and finished 2 of 35 rads today. Side effects minimal so far, just hiccups and fatigue. Walking and good food is keeping me strong as are everyone's prayers. Thank you all,

On the Road
Look at you, wishing us comfort and freedom from pain while you're hitting the chemo and rads. Thank you, Bob.
I'm sorry, too, that you have to go extra innings in this fight. Yes, I know that you have the strength and tenacity to do well through treatment, but I'm sorry you have to do it.
Hoping for minimum issues. Do well.0 -
