I am going to leave this board, it’s time
I want to thank all of you for the amazing support during and after my wife’s illness. I try to pray for each of you every night, day, morning. You are all brave and courageous.
Life for me is moving forward, sometimes 5 steps forward, 4 steps back, but it is moving. For the first time since July I am feeling hopeful, with eyes clear and open.
I know there will be hard days ahead, holidays are looming but it’s time to figure out my own way of celebrating, whether I even want to or not, it’s my choice. I guess that is what I am learning, I have choices today.
Thank you all – I love you.

We Love You Too
Hello David
I will be so sorry to see you leave us! May God bless you, keep you, and give you the strength and peace you will need in the near future. Please pop in every now and then to give us your update. Come back if you feel you can. I know you would be able to help a lot of people from your experience as a caregiver. Happy Holidays to you. My dad and your wife will be celebrating their holidays this year together in heaven. Love and hugs to you.
