Uterine Cancer and colon polyps

After being diagnosed with uterine cancer my gynecologist scheduled me for a colonoscopy. Two polyps were found...one raised and one flat. I have not yet gotten the results back on the pathology.
Is there any need for concern?

    Polyps
You won't know anything until the pathology report comes back. So, expect a report from your gastroenterologist and if you don't hear back in a week or so, call and ask.

I have had several polyps removed (some years before I was diagnosed with uterine ca)... one was "pre-cancerous" and the others benign. I now have a colonoscopy every 3 years (UGH!!)

    Thank you
I have to go back every 5 years. At least the medicine given for the colonoscopy are wonderful!

    Colonoscopy meds
I agree....the meds are GREAT...always a wonderful sleep!...BUT, the PREP is awful! Am thinking we need to patent a new one that is effective but MUCH gentler!! Also, I would think they would scale the dose to the size of the person, but it appears "one size fits all".

    Good luck!!

I couldn't agree with you more. I had a very difficult time just in drinking the volume of liquid needed to mix with the Miralax.

Yes, the prep is not a fun experience at all, but I had been forwarned.
