#5 on tap
Just thought I'd let you know that I'm in the waiting room to be called in for my #5 infusion. I haven't been able to go through the recent posts yet and internet doesn't work in the infusion center, so I don't know everyone's status. And tomorrow (Friday) early AM we have to drive down to Houston (5 hours) to help take care of some family business this weekend. So I will likely be out of touch for a while.
My last infusion, #4, was pretty hard, so I hope this weekend goes OK. And my onc wants me to get a chest x-ray done because of all the coughing last time. I don't know when I'll get that done because I'll be here in the center almost all day. C'est la vie.
I'll try to read some posts before they call me back for the infusion.
As usual, all good wishes to everyone.

Thanks to Y'All for your comments.
I got through #5 OK and we left for Houston early the next morning. It was a long weekend. We had to help pack up Connie's Dad who is 92 and is having to move to another apt in the same retirement facility. His wife (94) was having to be moved to a nursing home - but Dad no way wanted to go. Other family from NC were there and arranged for a really good solution, so we went down to help. Honestly, on Sat. (work day) I added hydro to my chem pack, and that really helped me be able to be productive. But the day after, on the way home Sunday, the down side hit and I did end up getting more sick Sunday night as we got home. It's OK now and they had a really good result in Houston, so I'm glad we did it.
I mentioned in an earlier post though, I really do appreciate the pred even more this time around. I really know when it wears off. And it ends today, so look out Wednesday!
My best to all (and Vinny, good pic - I know you're looking forward to getting back to that normal!)

My fingers and toes
Hi Tom,
My fingers and toes are crossed for a "GOOD" Wednesday!!! If it turns out to be crappy for you...just rest and be peaceful. I think the the Country Music Awards will be on, so maybe you can just watch that and find some enjoyment. Glad to hear all went well in Houston. God will reward you for doing all of the kind deeds!
Take care...Love..Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -

It is good to hear that you got through #5 ok despite some discomforts. That is a relief!!
Hope you continue to have easy times with subsequent treatments.
With positive thoughts,
