nice to be worried aboutPam M said:Been a While
Dave,
I was wondering a couple days ago, when I told another poster about some research Rat Face did. Seems it's been a while, but he was doing well.
Hi everyone
I needed some time away. I think we will all have those days, months, what ever it might be for you. I've been dropping by more often now. I'm humbly touched that anyone actually read any of that stuff. I've forgotton so much but still have lots of written stuff to refer back too. But more importantly if I benefitted one person on this board with my insanity on research it was worth it.
I'm doing very well. I've just passed the one year mark. It was this time last year I had finished Rads and chemo and was pursuing the neck disection. A year has made a tremondous difference in overall well being and I truely appreciate every waking moment since this stage of my life has taken place. I'm lurking around but so many of you give such wonderful advice I listen quietly for the most part. If I get excited about something I'll chime in. Thanks for the concern it's quite meaningfull to me and you all made my day and possibly month!0 -

Hi Ratface,
I am so glad you are doing well. Although I am new to the board, I have been following it for some time. I was worried when we hadn't heard from you for a while. This board amazes me - people really do notice and worry when someone is away - these people really care. I understand about needing the time away, but I do hope you keep posting from time to time just to let us know how you are doing.
Take care,
Myka0
