My weekend
Later that night I began to have my icky tummy troubles. I was in severe agony and just thisclose to goint to the ER. Ended up being awake until about 4:30 am. I had to miss church, because I was so tired.
I did rally enough to go to our Oktoberfest later in the afternoon. Our daughter and son in-law and all 3 grandchildren went, too. I still felt horrible, but I enjoyed being with them. There was supposed to be a costume contest, but somehow I was the only adult who got into that. Bill sort of did, but only because I found an easy one for him to do. He tapped a quarter and a piece of cheese to his shirt and carried a hammer. Know what he was? A quarter pounder with cheese!
I was a "Fairy Grandmother." *l* If I can correctly switch my photo, you'll see me in my lovely costume. I won a gift card for Subway, so I don't mind that I looked like the fool all day. *L*
Now if I could this stomach to cooperate...
*hugs*
Gail

I doubt you looked like a fool; I bet you looked fabulous! Good for you for getting dressed up. I am sorry you weren't feeling well, but you sure rallied despite that. Congratulations on the prize!
Thanks, Anne.
I see the picture has been successfully changed, so I'll let you be the judge of that. The pretty little cheerleader I'm holding is our precious granddaughter, Caroline.

Feel For You
You poor dear. Boy do I know the tummy issues. So sorry that you had to deal with that. I'm always so nervous about missing church too because of it, but God knows your heart and will definitely understand. Love the "quarter pounder". At least he was a good sport about it. My husband probably wouldn't even do that LOL. Would love to see your Fairy Grandmother picture and congratulations on the gift card. Bet you were the cutest of all. Hope your tummy feels better soon.
