I just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you + your Mom + hoping she is settling in well.

    Aw, dearheart! Thank you for asking....
    After a rocky first day, when we BOTH needed to realize that the control of her living space MUST be hers...lol...things are going well...

    She has a caregiver that is a joy who comes in the morning to help her bathe and dress. Yesterday, mom's very dear long-time friend came to visit, and she is now thinking about moving in, too!

    Things are better. The air conditioning people DID arrive, altho were a bit put off because they need to crane the new compressor (outside thing...help me...) over the house, we are built on a hill with a narrow wood staircase down to the back yard....

    Hopefully, we will have heat soon!
