Sharing Good News - New Great Grandson (Non-breast cancer related)

Hey all, just wanted to share the good news of our family. We are the proud Great Grandparents of a new baby boy, Noah Adrian Martinez. He is the new addition to the family of my Granddaughter, Brittany and her husband Adrian. Since last year, we have been on a roller coaster ride, with Brittany giving birth in September 2009 to Casey Alexander. Little Casey passed away December 15, 2009, and Brittany was pregnant just a couple of months later (at the doctor's suggestion). Noah was born early (only 35 weeks gestation), but weighed in at 5 lbs 1 oz. and is very healthy. Both Brittany and Noah went home yesterday (Friday) after being born on October 24th. I have updated my Expressions Page to show a picture of the family if you would like to see our new little bundle. What a relief to have him here safe. Hugs to all, Judy

    It's wonderful to hear good news. I saw the photos on your Expression Page. What a delightful and beautiful family!!! I got choked up when I heard that you lost Casey but became happy at the news of Noah. He will be special!

    MRI
    MRI showed no signs of a mass, so I am being referred to a neurosurgeon for a second opinion, and hopefully some idea as to how to get rid of the pain. We will see. Appointment is this Wednesday. Thanks for asking. Judy

    Babies are always a blessing, but your great grand-baby is extra special. I cried when I read the tribute to your daughter. But you are right she does live on in each and every one of you. Beautiful baby just beautiful. Congratulation!!
