Second belly button club
Welcome to the 2nd belly button club I only kept mine covered for 48 hours as I had no drainage and it was healing nicely. I washed it with antibacterial soap while I was in the shower and made sure to pat it dry. Never had any problems and didn't need to use any type of ointment on it.
As long as you keep it clean and dry you should be okay.
Stay well,

I am glad it didn't hurt to have it removed. I just kept it covered for a day (no drainage). I was in the pool in a week.
Happy for you. I had a seapage problem that lasted a couple months, along with irritation redness around the SBB. I'd advise to just keep an eye on the seapage, and how well the healing skin looks. Glad to have you in the SBBC.

It is so great to have my friend's on CSN for backup. Even if it is a simple question. I am comfortable to come on here & ask. Thank you again!0 -

Congrats Roz! Just had mine yanked out a couple weeks ago. I quit using the sterile pads after a day. No oozing, no pads. Mine healed up fast. Hope yours does as well!
