white sores in the nose

Has anyone had white sores in their nose while on chemo? My mom is on carbo and doxil currently, but has been on some form on chemo for 16 out of the last 19 or so months. She thought it might be yeast, so they have given her some yeast pills, but is there any other remedy any of you know of for these sores? She has also had nose bleeding.
