I am sitting in the room waiting for my results from a second mammogram. **** is in the waiting room. My mom was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer 5 weeks ago. I went in for my mammogram last week. Got a call at work today we need another look. I lost it. Said I cannot wait must be seen today. Now waiting for results. Will let you know

Update- all clear!! That was a horrible 3 hours. I was trying to figure out how to tell our 16 year old. She would have been a mess. Thank you for love and prayers.

Know exactly how you felt.
Kathleen, yes I know how you felt as many on this board know all to well. Same thing happened to me earlier this year. Mammo came back as abnormal multiple lumps not just one but multiple --- EEEK -- then scheduled an ultrasound then another follow up mamo. Came back o.k. feel they are just cysts. I'm considered high risk for breast cancer. 2 of my sisters were diagnosed with breast cancer. One lost her battle in 2006 and one is free and clear 30 years later.
So glad to hear your test came back fine!!! -
