we need some good news and here goes one!***UPDATE...... UNBELIEVABLE news......?*************
Plan was to try to stop it or better shrink it with chemo to can radiate the nodes and then operate liver met and nodes but only if thy shrunk.Well everything happened so fast!.Yesterday had my first two months control at 9 pm ,also today had a Radio simulation at 9 am,and a PET which was ordered by radiologist as he prefers to work with a PET instead of a SCAN,Before that at 8 am, already had blood work, finally had an appointment with Onc to check all these results at 2 pm. Here is the result for this bunch of tests:San was not arrived, Boold work perfect, PET, and here comes the surprise,no evidence of cancer activity in nodes nor in liver!!!!!!!! no lightning at all!, yeahhhhh, it does not mean I'm cancer free but activity has decreased as much that PET can't even recognize ,doc was not even concerned about Scan results! he said with CEA dropping and PET results showing nothing, Tumors must be stopped or shrunk for sure, this afternoon he will have the scan, but told me not to wary at all!.So we continue with the plan, Stop folfiri right now, and start to radiate in two weeks, surgery before end of the year!.By the way I was so happy that have forgotten to ask my CEA but who cares!.
Hugs!
****************************************UPDATE**************************************************************************************************************************Well........,As you know l got awesome news With PET results, and as you know I was told by my Onc that despite PET show no activity ,SCanner probably still wuold show us A shrinkage of tumor an lynph nodes , or at least a non progression of the disease , Well , here it goes the Scan result.....:
No evidence of any image suspicious of cancer on liver, Lynph nodes in normal size ,not visual evidence of disease ! just has disappear with 5 rounds of Folfiri Avastin !
Ladies and gentleman lm going to have a nap and then to church for a while !
Love all and every one of you.

So happy to hear this great news.
Pepe, I am happy with you. Just be cautious.
My liver surgeon did not want to do my surgery because he could not see the mets any longer on the pet scan, but my ONC insisted, since they knew where they were. Well, when the surgeon did an ultrasound he found two of the mets, and another that was not ever spotted. There was a third met that he could not find on my liver, so when he did the surgery he literally dissected the liver he cut away and there were the tumor. IT had shrunk and it may have gone away eventually with chemo, but I am so glad he found it.0 -
