i am looking for somebody who might be going through the same thing that my friend is going through. she has breast cancer with an unattached tumor under her sternum. i believe some lymph nodes are involved near the sternum as well. i would like to hear your story to see if i could somehow help her go through this by letting her know that other people have gone through the same thing.

    Sternum
    Hi,

I had a recurrance in May 2009 which included cancer on my sternum and 3 of my ribs. I had surgery which removed 3/4 of my sternum and part of 3 of my ribs. I had previously had a radical masectomy so my chest wall doesn't look to pretty but I'm here. The surgery is long, the initial recovery took me about 8 weeks. I then had chemo. If you have any other questions please feel free to email me directly.
