Radiation Dose Comparison
I was able to post a copy on my expression page of a chart that shows the radiation dose comparisons. I know that we have been chatting about ct scans and the amount of radiation we receive. This chart should help you to better understand how much we really do receive. It adds up very fast. Something to think about. This was from a larger article that talks about exposure and how many cancers ct scans are causing.

I'm Impressed!
Wow, Lisha!
Not only am I impressed at how much of a fighter you are, but by how much you know about this web site. I had no idea there even WAS an "Expressions" page. I went to see it and really appreciate the chart that you posted.
I really appreciate that you knew how to post it.
Thanks.
And, as always, you have my thoughts and prayers. It seems like all we do is hurry up and wait. But waiting = living. It's up to us to live to the fullest. You are an inspiration.

Hi Tom,
It took me awhile to figure out how to get photos and such on the expression page.
Thank you for your words of encouragement. I have so many days that I feel like it's more than I can and should handle, but of course I continue on, as we all do.. Good days, bad days and everything in between days. There is always tomorrow....
I know that you have had your hard days, just think about the next day and that hopefully it will be a little better. I try not to think to far ahead and to not expect to much. I try for the little small joys and victories. Doesn't always work out, but I do try.

Hi Lisha,
I personally find you to be very inspiring. When I sit down and think about everything you are dealing with I tell myself to "buck up" and quit thinking I have it so bad, because I honestly couldn't begin to fill your shoes. Here you are dealing with 2 cancers, a recurrence with not having all of the facts given to you, shoulder problems, a very ill mother-in-law,loosing your dear brother a year ago, and then top that off with a body that feels like it's been run over by a mac truck on a daily basis. If there is one thing I know about Libra's it's that we NEVER give up. We struggle daily to try and keep those damn scales balanced even if it means puting ourselves last in order to find peace and harmony. I truely believe your scales will eventually balance out Lisha, because it's not in your nature to allow it to be any other way. My heart goes out to you, along with my positive thoughts and daily prayers that each day you somehow find a little measure of peace and hope to get you through the day. Thinking of you always...

Hi Sue,
Right back at ya... Every cancer, wether it's one or two , old or new , it's still cancer. And all that goes along with having it. We all have our weakness and our strengths. I have gained so much just by knowing you and all my new friends here at CSN.
Now to the Libra thing. I am such a libra, just as you are. And yes I am way out of balance. It's an up and down motion all the time.
Today we are waitng to hear from mom in law. She had her scans yesterday, and now we wait for the results. I pray it's good news, but believe that it's not. Her situation is very sad and I believe dire. I will of course share with all of you, the news.
Today is the first day that feels like fall, overcast and drizzle. Love it love it love it.My kind of weather. You must get a lot of this up in Wash. I lived in w seattle for a year in my 20s. Love it up there...
