I had a Hysterectomy 5 years ago and they removed my Ovaries. Will I need Hormone Therapy?

    I dont know about your case,
    I dont know about your case, but i had a total hysterectomy including ovaries and im on hormone therapy. I just had it done in May though and they still have me on Tamoxifen.

    Jean, that's really a question for your onc. Estrogen is produced in other areas of the body besides just the ovaries. It's not that bad and not everyone has bad side effects from it. Good luck.
