Miriam, Glad to hear you're thru the rough part and hope the next few months go by fast for you. You celebrate like I want to when I get thru all the treatments. Eat lots of cake and drink champagne, only in my case make it margheritas (sp). Raising my glass to you, strong sister.
Congratulations on being done. It must feel really good.
Did you have side effects with radiation? I start next week. I'm having 16 sessions + 5 boosters (total 21). The radiation oncologist said they now have studies for over 10 years that say (at least for my type of cancer) that this protocol is every bit as effective, if not more so (?), than the typical 6 weeks.
